The Lanes in Mermaid Waters will be the place to be on Saturday March 31 as the Easter Street Food Market dishes up a smorgasbord of free family fun. Kicking off at 3:00 pm, there will be over 35 of the coast’s finest food trucks including all of your usual favourites – paella, churros, German sausages, Mexican, organic food, loaded fries, satay sticks, show-stopping desserts and plenty of gluten free and allergy friendly options. Once you’ve had your fill, browse stalls brimming with unique, vintage and homemade goodies.
Got the little folk in tow? There will be plenty of things to keep them occupied including a free jumping castle, rock climbing wall and craft corner. And because it’s Easter, there will even be a free Easter Egg Hunt thanks to the legends at Belgian Delights! Just be on the lookout for the golden tickets hidden around the market. There will be live music throughout the afternoon and into the evening so what else is there to do other than kick back, relax and enjoy a mighty fine time. Oh and bring the pooch! The food market is an outdoor dog-friendly event.
